A copy oil painting on canvas after Thomas Waterman Wood’s (1823-1903) Fresh Eggs, signed what appears to read ‘Tom Bettin.’ This piece depicts a smiling young boy seated with a basket of eggs in his lap, one of them held loosely in his hand. This work is signed to its lower right corner, and is mounted in a wooden frame with a textile liner and a hanging wire to its verso.
