Plated silver

A late 19th century silver plated figural lion and bud vase. This sculpture depicts a Royal Lion standing on its hind legs attached to an undulating, pointed base, holding a shield with a perforated center. This contains a hand-blown amber glass vase which is pinched in form with a turned rim. To the underside is imprinted hallmarks, reading ‘W & H S, EP England’.

Condition

- some silver lose at the base; wear to underside.
