Item Details

An antique full-size Stradivarius copy violin of spruce and ebony, with a carved figurehead on its scroll and marquetry inlay on its back, as well as a mahogany bow accented with mother of pearl. An interior label reads ‘Antonius Straduarius Cremona, faciebat Anno 1669’ with AS maker’s marks. A wooden hard case is also included. Please note condition detail.

Condition

- marks to finish consistent with age and use. Violin will need to be restrung and bow will need to be rehaired. Bridge and chinrest are not included. Sound post loose within body; tailpiece not attached but included. Marks to case, and latches do not work.
