An original large acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Lisa Schafer (21st century), titled Shoreline. The painting depicts a striated abstracted landscape. A field of brown and violet fills the lower edge of the painting, and a brilliant blue sky coats the upper area of the piece. The painting is signed in black to the lower left and is titled to the verso. It is presented without matting or framing and is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang. Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Designed from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
