Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Mehriban style wool mat. This rug features a palette cranberry, indigo, ivory, sky blue, emerald, sand, and rose; beginning with a central floral medallion with radiating flower and leaf motifs on a cranberry field. The field is framed with main carnation meander border with a pair of leaf guard borders and a sawtooth border to the interior. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and unfinished warp ends. Labeled illegibly.
