Antique Walnut and Cane Rocking Chair
Item Details
An antique walnut and caned rocking chair. The arched crest rail rests above six short spindles and a caned back. The stiles create a serpentine curve that joins the rocking rails in the back. The chair features scrolled arms with an open area, a later, rope woven seat and turned front legs that join the rails.
Condition
- condition considered fair only for the sagging, loosely woven seat, replaced with rope twine.
