Mid-Century Neoclassical Style Caned Armchair

Item Details

A mid-century Neoclassical style caned armchair. The walnut stained wooden chair has a small curve to the top rail, set between stiles that continue to saber block legs, and connect to curved armrests. Beneath the armrests are caned double panels on each side. The front stiles and legs are tapered into drops and have fluted detail, separated by an incised block at the knees. The back and removable seat cushion are upholstered in a plaid of bright pink, orange, yellow, and blue.
