A signed limited edition serigraph Posie Patch by artist John R. Nartker (American 1930-1998). This print depicts a geometric and stylized field of flowers against a background of bare-branched trees and full moon. This print is signed, dated (69), numbered 3/5, and titled by hand in graphite to the lower margin. It is presented in a red-violet mat, behind glass, and in a silver-tone metal frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.

Known both locally and internationally, John R. Nartker is an artist in painting, printmaking, and ceramics. At the College of Mount St. Joseph, he served as the Department of Art Chair for eight years, and inspired students as a professor for over 30 years.
