Sallie and Walt Carlson Signed Original Nautical Batik
Item Details
An original limited edition framed batik, titled Full Sail, from an edition of 100 originally crafted cotton batiks by artists Sallie and Walt Carlson. The batik depicts a sailboat on water in a palette of blues and browns. It is signed ‘Carlson 81 SV 62/100’. The back of the frame has a label with the title, along with information about the batik, which is made of cotton. The letters ‘SV’ in the signature indicate that the batik is from a ‘Series of Variations’, each one being individually made by hand. The batik is presented with double blue mats and glass in a narrow chrome metal frame. Ready to hang.
