Vintage Seth Thomas Wood and Brass "Weathervane II"

Item Details

A vintage Seth Thomas wood, brass and glass ‘Weathervane II’, model 6014-000. The weathervane features a stained wood column with a split pediment and brass finial. The body is scrolled, and holds a variety of weather instruments including a humidity gauge, a compensated barometer, and a mercury thermometer. The dial of the barometer is marked ‘Made in Japan’ and the thermometer is marked ‘CF’. The back of the weathervane is labeled ‘Seth Thomas – A Talley Industries Company – Thomaston, Conn. – Made in Japan’.
