Takashi Okamura Limited Edition Photograph on Paper "The Delphic Sibyl"

A limited edition photograph on paper titled The Delphic Sybil from The Sistine Chapel by well-listed artist Takashi Okamura (Japanese b. 1927). The photograph is a detail of the titular fresco in the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo. An undisclosed number in an edition of 100. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower left and right corners. To the verso is a framer’s label and descriptive label providing the edition number. Housed in a gilt wood frame under acrylic glass and a linen mat with a coordinating gilt fillet. Okamura is well-known for his photographs of artworks.
Condition
- minor scratches and small chips to the gilt on the frame; minor tears to paper backing.
