A pair of oil paintings on board by American artist Grace Huntley Pugh (1912-2010). This selection includes an architectural scene and the abstract portrait of an ambiguous figure. The pieces are unsigned and remain unframed.
Grace Huntley Pugh was a member of the American Watercolor Society. She graduated from Barnard College and attended the National Academy of Design Art School, the Art Students League, and the Parsons School of Design. She was also the founding president of the Mamaroneck Artists Guild and is mostly known for her paintings of Mamaroneck Harbor.
