Figurines of Officers on Horses Including Green Howards
Item Details
A collection of four figurines depicting British officers on horseback. Features a British officer from the Green Howards Yorkshire Regiment, armed with a carbine and mounted on a chestnut horse; the figure is marked ‘Princess of Wales Own Yorkshire #3’ to the underside of its metal, green-flocked base. Also included are three mounted officers on wooden bases, each from a different period of time and regiment within the military, and each hand-labelled ‘T.H.’ to the bottom with a 1991 date.
Condition
- minor wear; two standards bearers are missing standards.
