Two Akira Matsumoto Limited Edition Woodcut Prints

A pair of small limited edition color woodcuts by well-listed Japanese artist Akira Matsumoto (born 1936). This pair includes one print titled Bird in a Tree which depicts an abstracted figure of a bird with a large round blue form. This print is signed, titled, dated 1964, and editioned 79/200 in graphite along the bottom margin. Also included is Hummingbird which depicts an abstracted hummingbird in green and black. This print is also signed, titled, dated 1962, and editioned 85/200 along the bottom margin in graphite. Both prints are housed in silver tone wooden frames with black matting under glass and each print features a label to the verso with information about the piece.
