Uchida Woodblock Print Originated by Eiichi Kotozuka "Cherry Blossoms"

A mid to late 20th century shin-hanga style woodblock print on paper originated by Japanese artist Eiichi Kotozuka 琴塚 英 (1906-1979) titled Cherry Blossoms. The work was published by Uchida Art Co. of Kyoto, Japan and depicts a flowering tree with delicate cherry blossoms set against a variegated off-white and purple background. The work includes artist’s seal markings stamped in black ink to the lower right with an additional calligraphy stamp to the outer margin. The paper is watermarked ‘Uchida’ to the lower right. It is matted in white and presented unframed.

- minor toning to paper and matting; matting is torn to the edges; work is unframed.
