A stoneware Royal Doulton Greenlees Brothers Claymore Scotch Whisky jug. The piece features a mottled amber and brown tone glaze with two handles to the shoulders by the narrow neck. The body is round and rests on a round foot. It features embossed lettering and numbering of AC 1908 in a gold tone and an embossed design of a Native American style man in profile with head dress in an ecru color. A cork is included, it features a round silver tone finial to the top. The jug is impress marked with the Royal Doulton and Greenlees Brothers marks to the underside and the lettering ‘hd’ for the artist E. Violet Hayward and ‘BB5.’

Condition
