A ceramic lidded wanderer’s stein. Features a silver-toned metal thumblift and tilt-top lid over a white ceramic stein with the image of three 20th century village wanderers. The German phrase on a salmon-colored bar below the image translates to ‘Carefree as the clouds in the sky, the wanderers trudge forward, begging drink and food on their journey through each place.’ A maker’s mark to the underside depicts an armored man and youth.

- light scuffs and stains; loss to part of maker’s mark on underside.
