Antique Villeroy & Boch German Castle Wall Plate
Item Details
An antique porcelain wall plate by Villeroy & Boch. This round plate depicts a medieval German castle with pointed rooftops surrounded by lush green trees. The border features embossed scrolls and lattice patterns with a gilded finish. A wire hanging device is attached to the verso. The piece is stamped with a green ‘Villeroy & Boch Mettlach’ mark, which was used between 1874-1909. It is further marked ‘DEC 167 B’ and ‘33’.
