Early Doulton Lambeth "Merry Monks" Ceramic Pitcher
Item Details
An early Doulton Lambeth ceramic jug, Merry Monks or Monks in the Cellar jug, circa 1900. Featured is a two-tone brown handled jug with embellished floral designs and depictions of monks, with the design attributed to Mary Lilley. It is marked to the underside with the Doulton Lambeth mark, and ‘pd’, ‘bbb’, and ‘464’ with additional impressed marks.
