An oil painting on canvas titled The Regular Ones by listed, American artist John Winstanley Breyfogle (1874-1947), created in 1914. This painting depicts two seated women surrounded by four small children rendered with dark tonalities and smokey hues. It is signed, dated, and titled to the verso. This painting remains unframed.
John Winstanley Breyfogle was born in Louisville, Kentucky and is known for his landscape and figure-genre paintings. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts where some of his work are still on display. His work is also displayed at the Art Institute of Chicago and Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC.
