An original graphite illustration on paper attributed to contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Saito, titled Laborer. The drawing depicts a hectic illustration of a man’s face. He frowns slightly, and gazes towards the lower edge of the image. He is illustrated in layered graphite scribbles that create dense cross-hatched texture across. The drawing is unsigned, but the artist’s name and piece’s title are written by an unknown hand to the verso. The drawing is matted in navy blue linen and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with black finish and a hanging wire.

Condition

- very light scratching to frame. Paper is yellowed with age.
