Vintage Georgian Style Mahogany Desk by Sligh

Item Details

A Georgian style, mahogany desk by Sligh, having a brass gallery rail mounted to the top, which is partially hinged with a folding writing surface, above a drawer with pencil tray and loper supports. Below is a recessed kneehole with pieced corner brackets, surrounding a cockbeaded door with brass escutcheon and flanked by six five drawers, each having pierced-brass pulls, on bracket feet. Circa 1980.
