A 2005 limited edition woodblock print on paper titled Johnny Cash and the Tennessee Two by Julie Belcher and Kevin Bradley of Knoxville, Tennessee’s Yee-Haw Letterpress. The Folk Art inspired work depicts portraits of Cash, Luther Perkins, Marshall Grant, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Rich and Elvis Presley in a palette of black against white. The portraits are arranged with decorative text that includes the title as well as phrases of ‘Memphis, Tennessee, Sun Records, Wild, Famous, Walk the Line, Ring of Fire, The Kings of Rockabilly, In God We Trust, Fact, He Quit Pills and Whiskey to Marry June Carter, Two Mechanics and a Used Appliance Salesman’. The print is signed ‘K. Brady / J. Belcher 2005’ in graphite to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 102 out of an edition of 300. It is presented under conservation glass in a black wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
