Vintage Sterling Silver Bowls by Reed & Barton and Frederick J.R. Gyllenberg

A collection of sterling silver bowls. Includes a scalloped bowl by Reed & Barton marked with an eagle, R in a shield, and rampant lion, which was used between 1889-1946. It is further marked ‘Sterling X323’. Also included is a hand wrought footed bowl by Frederick J.R. Gyllenberg, active in Boston, Massachusetts from 1900 to 1932. The underside features the maker’s trademark along with ‘Sterling 117’ as well as a personalized engraving of ‘B, E, V’. The total approximate weight is 13.095 ozt.
Condition
- minor surface wear including markings and minimal tarnishing; the footed bowl is personally engraved.
