Lancaster Oil Painting on Canvas of Winter Scene
Item Details
A mid to late 20th-century oil painting on canvas by Lancaster. The piece depicts two figures walking through a snow-covered wooded landscape under blue skies and wispy clouds. The work is signed ‘Lancaster’ in black paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a silver tone wooden frame with a linen liner to the front, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- minor scuffing, dust and edge wear to frame; no backing paper.
