Royal Doulton Loving Cup with Sterling Silver Rim

A Royal Doulton loving cup with a sterling silver rim. This loving cup features a ceramic body with three handles. The center of the cup features a low relief scene of a windmill, a house, and dogs running through a pasture. The ceramic portion of the cup features a brown and cream colored glazed finish. The rim of the cup is sterling silver and is marked with Sheffield hallmarks including the maker’s mark for Thomas Bradbury III and John S Henderson followed by four hallmarks including a crown representing Sheffield, a lion passant for sterling silver, a ‘P’ for 1882 and the Queen Victoria duty mark. The underside of the cup is marked, ‘Doulton Lambeth.’
