An early 20th-century Royal Doulton Lambeth stoneware pitcher circa 1891 -1956. Offered is a stoneware pitcher with brown glazed accents and an embossed foliate motif in gray. The pitcher displays text that reads ‘Let not a man be seen here who unurged will not drink to the base from the brink’. The piece is marked ‘Doulton Lambeth England’ to the underside.
