A hand-knotted signed Kerman area rug. This rug features a center medallion with floral spray pendants in a palette of sage, rose, goldenrod, teal and blue on a cream field adorned with floral spandrels in a similar color. A complex compound border with meandering floral border encircle the field. A signature is present in a blue at the bottom of the rug. The piece is finished with a short cotton fringe. Unmarked.
