A collection of eight lithographic prints on paper Portraits of the Old West by American artist Frederick Remington (1861-1909). The prints are titled as follows; A Cheyenne Buck, A Sioux Chief, A Calvary Officer, _ An Arizona Cowboy_, _ A Trapper_, Old Ramon, An Army Packer, and A Breed. The prints are signed in plate and three are dated 1901, also in plate. Each print is marked Frederick Remington (American, 1861-1909): Courtesy of The Remington Memorial, to the lower left and, ©1956, Penn Prints, New York, to the lower right. The prints are housed in a folio titled Frederick Remington’s Buckskins – Portraits of the Old West . . . The Original Folio of Eight Color Prints Superbly Reproduced.
