Villeroy & Boch and Other German Decorative Military Themed Porcelain Plates

A set of four Villeroy & Boch and other German military themed porcelain plates. The collection includes a plate featuring named illustrations of the types of soldiers found in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870/71, and a plate featuring named illustrations of the types of cavalry soldiers during the reign (1797-1840) of King Frederick William III of Prussia. These are both marked 737 Geschützt and with the letter F and K respectively to the underside. The other two plates feature a similar title with the dragoons and infantry of the Great Electors, and the soldiers under King Frederick William I of Prussia. These are both marked with the Rudolph Konig and Villeroy & Boch marks to the underside.
Condition
- chip to the rim of one plate; crazing throughout.
