A grouping of seven blue and white Danish royalty memorial porcelain plates by Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl. The Royal Copenhagen items include two 100 year anniversary plaques for the birth of King Christian IX, a seventieth birthday memorial plate for Queen Louise who was married to King Frederick VII, and a 1892 plate to celebrate King Christian IX and Queen Louise’s golden anniversary. The Bing & Grøndahl pieces feature a memorial plate of King Christian IX’s reign from 1863 to 1906 and two 1898 commemorative plates for thirty-five years of reigning for King Christian IX. Each item is marked to the underside, except for the golden anniversary plate.
