A Mettlach ceramic lidded beer stein from Villeroy and Boch. It features a hand-painted finish bearing the image of 19th century townspeople in a drinking hall, with floral borders and accents in shades of blue, brown, and white. The pewter lid has a vasiform thumb lift and a brown, tan, and blue geometric inlay to the top. Marked Mettlach to the underside, ‘2362’ with production numbers.
