A pairing of ceramic beer steins including Hauber & Reuther. Each stein features ceramic construction with a silver-toned ornate lid. Included is an antique earthenware stein with a tan center section with a floral pattern of green and pink, and the mantra ‘Ein nett Plätzchen, Ein lieb Schätzchen, Ein fein Bierchen, Das ist mein Pläsirchen’ (A nice cookie, a dear sweetheart, a fine beer, that is my pleasure). It has a dull, silver tone domed lid and thumb rest. The bottom has a mark of ‘HR’ and ‘Germany’ for Hauber & Reuther of Freising, Bavaria, Germany. The company was active from 1886 until 1907. Also included is a white stein has maroon trim and a scene of a 19th century German woman, attempting to wake a dozing huntsman, with a 1/2 liter mark. This is unmarked.

- wear to finish on white stein; stains to surface of tan stein.
