The exterior of the pitcher is decorated with the Landlord’s Invitation reading ’Here’s To Pa’nds Pen Das O Ci Alh, Ou Rin Hai Rm Les, Smirt Hai N, D Fun Letfrie’nds Hipre Icn, B Rju St Aa Dkin – Dan – Devils, Peak Of N One.’ Maker’s marks are present to the underside, ‘Doulton/Slaters/Patent’, ‘ttt’, ‘Doulton/Burlsem/England’, ‘CbC’, ‘Rd.No.137999’ and ‘3841Emyy’
