A vintage Chinese porcelain baluster vase. This vase features a flared rim with a concave neck, applied guardian lion and dragon decorative mounts, light blue background glaze with red, blue, and yellow palmettes and florets with a central vase and floral motif. Other stylistic details include phoenixes and a base border of stylized flowers with a red and yellow background. Marked with Chinese characters and decorated with floral motif to the bottom.
Condition
- Could benefit from cleaning.
- Grime inside lip and around applied decoration.
- Black, smoke-like damage to body of vase.
