Original Antique Landscape Painting After Arnold Marc Gorter
Item Details
A landscape titled October Day after Arnold Marc Gorter (Dutch, 1866 – 1933). This work depicts a meandering stream flanked by mature trees in late fall. Dairy cows are seen grazing in a distant field. It is signed A.M. Gorter to the lower right and housed under glass in a wooden frame with gilt finish. A sticker to the verso reads “October Day After Gorter”.
Condition
- large chip to the right side of the frame; overall minor chips and marks; tears to the paper backing. The painting appears in good condition.
