A Sidonie Caron matted and framed landscape print. Artist Sidonie Caron, born in Germany and immigrated to the Pacific Northwest, created this impressionist landscape in the pastel colors of pinks and blues portraying a field of untouched wildflowers with Oregon’s coastline in the near distance. In an interview, artist Sidonie Caron. has stated, ‘I am an eclectic painter, responding to life’s influences, my travels, and my environment by making art that reflects all this.’ The replica signature ‘Caron’ is located in the lower left-hand corner. Presented in a gold wash frame and matted in beige and gray, the artwork is underneath plexiglass. There is a metal wire on the backside for mounting purposes.
Condition
The artwork retains its original colors with little or no fading. The original cardboard paper backing is in very good condition. No breaks in the glass. The frame exhibits a few nicks.
Dimensions
The measurements reflect the size of the artwork in its frame.
