An oil on canvas titled Picking Wildflowers by contemporary artist Ernestine Bucking (Australia, America). This large painting depicts a young woman filling a basket of wildflowers in a field of multi-colored blooms. Seagulls are seen soaring in the distance. It is signed and dated 1983 to the lower right corner and presented in a restored Victorian-era gilded frame. A hanging wire and light are attached to the verso. This is a heavy piece.
