Item Details
An oil on paper painting by Jovan Obican (Yugoslavian/French 1918 – 1986) of a man and woman riding a donkey. The whimsical painting depicts an older man in a colorful costume with a young woman in a white dress and veil holding a bouquet of flowers. The yellow bird in the painting is considered Obican’s trademark and appears in most of his works. The painting is signed in white to the lower right and mounted under glass with peach and linen textured cream layered mats in a gold tone metal frame that is wired for hanging.

- light stains to mat; minor wear to frame.
