A yarn embroidery work of an elephant with a howdah. The colorful work is contrasted with blues and silver tone threads. Mounted onto board and housed in gold-tone and black wood frame. To the verso is a framer’s label.
Condition
- minor wear to the finish on the frame; water stains to paper backing; tightness in the work has caused a natural warping to the lower portion of the piece.
