Collection of "Popcorn" Mid-Century Still Life Wooden Plaques

A collection of three ‘popcorn’ still life wooden plaques with serigraph imagery and raised plastic areas created in 1964. The raised plastic areas are created by melted plastic discs formed together which is commonly known as a ‘popcorn’ effect. Each work depicts books alongside organic elements in tan, orange, and off white tones. Originally created by the Illinois Moulding Company each work is stamped with the companies makers mark to the verso. Presented freestanding with hooks for hanging.
Condition
- some wear and scratches to the surface of the work; wear around the edges of the wood; to the verso, some staples from previous mounting.
