A pair of Chinese vases with stands. They are decorated in the wucai or ‘five-color’ style. The first vase is decorated with large colorful peaches and floral designs. The neck of the vase has a blue toned foliate design of leaves. This vase is narrow at the bottom, wide at the mid section and narrow toward the top. The second vase has a round body, with illustrations of people carrying large peaches through the forest. The shoulder of the vase has a repetitive design alternating in reds, yellows and blues. The neck of the vase is narrow, opening up to a petal design. Each is marked with a Qianlong reign mark, however, it was likely produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
