Pair of Signed Alec Stern Halftone Prints on Paper
Item Details
A pair of signed halftone prints on paper by Alec Stern (American; 1904 – 1994). The first print depicts a spanning cityscape and is titled Graceful Spans to the bottom left. To the bottom right, the work is signed in plate and in graphite. The second print depicts a city view titled Winter Skyline in Central Park to the bottom left. To the bottom right, the work is signed in graphite. Each print is presented unmounted and without frames.
Condition
- some wear to the edges of the paper; some discoloration to the surface of each work; some warping to each paper from being rolled; to the verso of each item, tape residue and some marks.
Dimensions
- measurements of one paper; measurements of plate 13.75" W x 10" H; each item is approximately the same size.
