An oil painting of a still life on burlap, by artist A. Grundorf. This blue-toned work depicts a pair of vessels, one holding a candle in its mouth, and a dish or yellowish fruit, all before a painterly shadow-filled background. The piece is signed toward its lower right and is mounted in a beveled wooden frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.
