Antique and Vintage Tall Case Wood Clocks
Item Details
A pair of American-made tall-case wood clocks. The clocks are made of cherry-stained wood, with solid wood cabinet doors. One of the clocks is antique, made of cherry with secondary pine woods. It has an arched top with decorative, turned columns and a removable finial that is also the clock’s key. Its dial features Roman numerals and images of cabbage roses in pink and red. The smaller clock is vintage, made of minimally carved mixed woods including poplar, birch, and pine. Its dial features Roman numerals and images of roses in yellow and pink. The clocks are unmarked. Neither has been tested.

Condition
- to poor; the clocks have not been tested; neither has been examined for missing parts.
- the larger clock: the clockworks case is separated from the body; significant damage to the backboard; the dial is faded and bent and is separated from the frame; weights are oxidized; this clock is presumed to be non-operational.
- the dial of the smaller clock is cracked down the center; the clock face is faded; there are scratches to the wood; a key is not included.
