A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz Serapi runner. This wool runner features a series of medallions in salmon, slate blue, and cream on a crenelated lozenge of curvilinear vines and flowers. Cream-colored spandrels are filled with florals, leading to an unresolved samovar main border. Overcast burgundy selvedge edges are present, as well as warp fringe at both ends. This rug is unmarked.
