A set of sterling silver flatware for twelve by Westmorland Sterling Co. This company was created by Wearever Aluminum and Wallace Silversmiths to sell sterling flatware and holloware directly to customers through door-to-door subscriptions, and all products were manufactured by Wallace Silversmiths. This collection is in the George & Martha pattern, which is the same as the Henry L. Wallace designed Hampton by Wallace, featuring curved handles with scrolled accents. The ninety-seven piece set includes twelve dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twenty-four teaspoons, twelve round soup spoons, twelve butter spreaders, two oval soup spoons, three serving spoons, a casserole spoon, two cocktail forks, a tomato server, and a ladle, all marked ‘Westmorland Sterling’. They also come with twelve dinner knives, a cake server, and a carving knife and fork set with stainless steel components and sterling handles. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with burgundy felt-like interior lining.
