The work depicts a young woman with dark hair dressed in a voluminous black dress, accented with a red belt and gold-tone accessories. The figure is surrounded by a flourished and foliated setting. The work is signed by the artist in red paint to the lower left. Presented without glass, housed in a carved wood frame with a gilt finish.
