W. L. Wyllie Drypoint Engraving on Paper "Yacht Racing, Squally Weather"
Item Details
A drypoint engraving on paper titled Yacht Racing, Squally Weather by listed, English artist William Lionel Wyllie (1851-1931). This prints features full-masted boats sailing on rough waves as three figures row out to meet the them. It is signed in graphite to the lower left corner. A gallery label is attached to the verso indicating artist and partial title. This prints is matted and presented in a black painted wood frame under glass; fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- advanced foxing to print and mat; glass and print sit loose in frame; scratches and dents to frame; toning to paper and mat; dirt to glass; glass could benefit from being cleaned; dust.
