An Ideal Toy Corporation Dick Tracy Bonny Braids doll. From 1951, this doll is a depiction of comic book characters Dick Tracy and Tess Truehart’s daughter. Bonny features washable blonde pigtails held with ribbons, bright blue eyes, and an open rosebud mouth. She wears a long white gown topped with a pink lace trimmed jacket. Bonny Braids comes with her original packaging features snippets of the Dick Tracy comic strip, and boasts ’America’s New Darling!’ and ‘She sobs! She cries! She coos!’
